Agility is an obstacle course sport for dogs and their owners/handlers that also builds a great relationship as a team. The skills worked on assist in learning to handle agility obstacles and build your dogs confidence. Dogs must be friendly, able to get along with other dogs & people, have completed a beginner course of obedience, and be 1 year of age.
Puppy Obedience is for dogs under 6 months of age and starts the learning process for being a well behaved and social dog. It incorporates the basics of sit, down, come, wait, walking on a leash, mouthing, and manners.
Rally Obedience Training for you and your dog -
Why try Rally Obedience with your dog? There are many reasons. Rally exercises will help build the foundation for your dog’s learning, confidence, attention, and motivation. A well trained rally dog has skills that are useful around the house and out in public. The rally dog can function despite distractions and is steady around other dogs and people. – Dale Vanclieaf
~ Dale and his German Shepherd Dog Luke earned their Rally Novice (RN) title this summer in both the CARO (Canadian Association of Rally Obedience) and the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club).
Rally Obedience teaches dogs and their owners/handlers the signs and commands, courses, and moves of this type of obedience. The dogs and their owners/handlers work together, building a bond while they learn as a team.
Level 2 Obedience
Level 2 Obedience goes beyond the beginner level with added skills and commands. It also introduces the 10 exercises that enable the handler and dog to complete a Canine Good Neighbour Test or to move on to Rally Obedience.
Beginner Obedience is for dogs 6 months of age and older and has the same goals as puppy obedience but also incorporates more distractions.
