CKC   The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada and currently recognizes 174 breeds. As a non-profit organization, the CKC is dedicated to encouraging, guiding, and advancing the interests of purebred dogs and their responsible owners and breeders in Canada and promoting the knowledge and understanding of the benefits which dogs can bring to Canadian society.



Dog Legislation The Dog Legislation Council of Canada (DLCC) was formed in 2003 by three women who saw a need for responsible dog owners to aid in enacting solid dangerous dog laws and promote responsible ownership across Canada. LeeAnn O'Reilly, Cathy Prothro and Dawne Deeley together founded the DLCC and are active directors in the organization.

CaroThe Canadian Association of Rally Obedience (CARO) has been established so that dogs can earn titles in Rally O here in Canada.
Rally Obedience is a fun dog obedience sport, open to ALL dogs, purebred or mixed breed, pets or titled champions as well as physically challenged dogs and/or handlers. Rally Obedience goes beyond basic heeling by interspersing over forty obedience movements with the sits, turns and paces of traditional heeling. It also requires a brisk pace, positive attitude and happy demeanour.
