Rally-O (an abbreviation for Rally Obedience) is one of the
newest dog sports that people are competing in today. Rally-O is
a very exciting, competitive test of skill and obedience, and
allows competitors of all ages and skill levels to compete.
Rally-O is more like a combination of freestyle and obedience,
where the dog and handler follow a set of cards which lists the
commands that the dog and handler are to follow, rather than
specific instructions from the judge.

dog sport which people are typically most familiar with. The massive
Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show broadcast on television every year,
the Eukaneuba Championships and even a big screen movie or two have

Dog obedience is a sport in which handler and dog compete as a fluid, skilled team. The dog is asked to perform a variety of complex skills, including sitting, lying down, heeling and coming on command, and is judged on how quickly and accurately the movements are performed. Points are awarded for accuracy and speed, so a well-trained dog and skilled handler team are vital to success.
Training your dog in competitive obedience is vital to success in the obedience trial ring. The dog must be extremely proficient at performing all of the various commands required during the trial, and the handler must also know the pattern and routine of the trial ring before competing.
